hi. i’m claire.

my parents raised me on a farm in mid-missouri. no, i did not milk cows before driving a tractor to school every morning.

i graduated from UT (go longhorns!) with a film bachelors and a violin bachelors – now LA is my new hometown, i spent my first year and a half here begging desperately for jobs like the other 80% of my graduating class.

like all other LAites, i did a little bit of everything. i’ve had violin students and piano students, there are hip-hop tracks on itunes with me playing, i’ve worked on friends’ shoots, i’ve met Jeff Goldblum, though i seriously doubt he would know my name. (so sexy in Earth Girls Are Easy!) i worked at industry entertainment, a management company in beverly hills, up until this spring. after a surprising move by my boss, i went with her and now work at anonymous content, a management and production company in culver city. yes, it’s awesome. and yes, my job is hard. entourage ain’t got nothin’ on us.

hollywood is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. but i do get free diet coke at work. and zooey gets to have her exclusive cat parties.
